PM Surya Ghar Subsidy Hub
Free Solar Under PM Surya Ghar. We Handle the Process.
The Government of India's PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana offers eligible homeowners up to 300 units of free electricity every month — and up to ₹78,000 in direct subsidy to help pay for your solar system. This is the most significant residential solar support scheme India has ever launched.
Konaark is an empaneled installer under this scheme. We manage every step — from eligibility check to subsidy deposit — so you never have to deal with government portals or DISCOM paperwork alone.

How It Works - Our Step-by-Step Process
Step 1
Contact Konaark
Fill our eligibility form or call/WhatsApp us. We confirm your eligibility based on your DISCOM connection details and a quick roof assessment.
Step 2
Free Site Survey
A Konaark engineer visits your home to assess roof area, structural suitability, shadow mapping, electrical panel capacity, and the optimal system size for your consumption.
Step 3
System Design and Quote
We provide a detailed proposal: recommended kW, module layout, estimated annual generation, monthly savings, payback period, and subsidy amount — before you commit to anything.
Step 4
Apply on the National Portal
Konaark's subsidy team registers you on the PM Surya Ghar national portal (pmsuryaghar.gov.in) and files the feasibility application with your DISCOM on your behalf.
Step 5
DISCOM Approval
Your DISCOM inspects and approves the installation plan. Konaark coordinates this entire process and follows up until approval is received.
Step 6
Installation
Once DISCOM approval is confirmed, Konaark installs your solar system - modules, mounting structure, inverter, cables, and earthing - per the approved design.
Step 7
DISCOM Inspection and Net Metering
Post-installation, the DISCOM inspects the system and installs the net meter. Konaark schedules and coordinates this inspection.
Step 8
Subsidy Application
We file the subsidy application with net meter details and commissioning documentation. The government verifies and processes payment.
Step 9
Subsidy Credited
Central subsidy of up to ₹78,000 is credited directly to your registered bank account — typically within 30 to 60 days of application.
Step 10
Start Saving
Your system is live, your DISCOM bill is lower, and your subsidy is in your account. Konaark's monitoring team tracks your generation for the first year.
