Residential MMS

KN-RES-FLT-01 | Flat Roof Ballasted Mount — Aluminum

Application: Residential flat RCC roof — no roof penetration required.

Material: 6063-T5 anodized aluminum with HDGI ballast trays.

Tilt Angle: 10°, 15°, or custom on request.

Module Compatibility: All standard 60-cell, 72-cell, and 120/144 half-cut framed modules.

Wind Load Rating: Designed per IS 875 Part 3 — up to 150 km/h standard; 200 km/h engineering available on request.

Maximum System Size: 25 kW on standard residential roof.

Documentation Included: Structural calculation report, material test certificate, installation guide.

KN-RES-SLP-02 | Sloped Roof Mount — Aluminum (Tile & Concrete)

Application: Residential sloped and pitched roofs — Mangalore tile, clay tile, flat concrete tile, metal sheet.

Material: 6063-T5 anodized aluminum rail with L-feet and EPDM waterproofing gaskets.

Fixing: Roof hook penetration with sealant kit included; hooks rated for specific tile type.

Rail System: 35mm or 40mm standard rail; splicing available for long spans.

Wind Load Rating: Designed per IS 875 — installation-specific; structural report included.

Documentation Included: Structural report, waterproofing specification, installation torque spec sheet.

KN-RES-ELV-03 | Elevated Flat-Roof Mount — HDGI (Terrace Farm)

Application: Elevated mounting for maximum generation yield; allows continued use of terrace for other purposes.

Material: IS 2062 hot-dip galvanized steel (IS 4759 compliant).

Elevation Height: 300mm to 1200mm above roof surface — custom heights available.

Best For: Bungalows and farmhouses where parapet wall shading is a concern.

Wind Load Rating: 200 km/h design — elevated structures face higher wind forces; full structural report mandatory.

Commercial & Industrial MMS

KN-COM-RCC-04 | Commercial Flat Roof (RCC Slab) — HDGI

Application: Large commercial and industrial RCC rooftop — shopping complexes, office buildings, schools.

Material: IS 2062 E250 HDGI structural steel — 85 micron zinc coating.

Module Row Spacing: Custom designed per shadow analysis — inter-row spacing calculation included.

Capacity Range: 20 kW to 500 kW on a single roof.

Foundation: Chemical anchor bolts into RCC slab — no welding to roof structure.

Wind Load Rating: 200 km/h design standard; coastal zone reinforcement available.

Documentation: Full structural calculation report, anchor design, foundation design per site.

KN-IND-MET-05 | Industrial Metal Shed Roof Mount — HDGI

Application: GI and colour-coated steel shed roofs — factories, warehouses, logistics hubs.

Material: HDGI clamps and standing seam hooks; no drilling required for standing seam profiles.

Compatibility: Trapezoidal profile, standing seam, corrugated GI sheet (drill-fix method).

Load Transfer: Loads transferred to purlin and rafter — not to cladding sheet.

Capacity Range: 50 kW to 2 MW+.

Special Feature: Roof load analysis included — critical for older factory structures.

Ground - Mount MMS

KN-GND-FIX-06 | Fixed Tilt Ground Mount — HDGI

Application: Open land, agricultural land (agrivoltaic), institutional campuses.

Material: IS 2062 HDGI structural steel; galvanized pile foundation or concrete footing.

Tilt Angle: Site-optimised fixed tilt — typically 10° to 20° for peninsular India.

Foundation Options: Driven pile (subject to soil conditions); concrete pad footing.

Capacity Range: 10 kW to 2 MW+.

Wind Load Rating: 200 km/h; seismic zone consideration for Zone III/IV sites.

Documentation: Full structural report; geotechnical input requirement for pile sizing.
